Why does the app not automatically apply a filter to the shop?

March 21, 2021

When arriving at a store, the app will detect that you’re at that store based on previous shopping trips to that location. If there’s more stores in the vicinity, you may have to select which store you’re at using the sorting button top right.
Once the store is selected, the store appears next to the list name in the header. So far so good – but why does the list not filter out items marked for other stores?
That is intentional, you might want to buy stuff marked for other stores anyway. By design, we have chosen that filtering is manual – but it is really easy to invoke. You can automatically hide all items marked for other stores as described here.
