Grosh learns your habits by analysing your shopping trips. It looks for recurring purchases and calculates if there are groceries you need, based on your past behaviour. After some weeks, Grosh will show a light bulb icon top right of the orange grocery shopping list. Pressing it will bring you to the suggestion screen. Items with critically low stock are marked red in the suggestion list.
If you don’t add items to Grosh and mark them as purchased, there is no data to analyse and Grosh can’t make suggestions. Whenever you realize you’re missing an item, open the app and start typing at the top, and grosh shows matching groceries you can pick. Using the picklist ensures you spell items the same way – this helps Grosh figure out it’s a recurring purchase. Or use the suggestion screen to swipe items directly over to the grocery shopping list without typing at all.
