Why can’t I add recipe quantity to the list?

No. If you have two recipes, one recipe for 600g flour and the 2nd with 400g, the application registered this as 2 x Flour – not  1 kg (the amount of flour in the recipes).

This is by design, Grosh does not transfer any amount when adding ingredients from a recipe to a shopping list.

This is because many people just want to buy the ingredients, not a package exactly matching the quantity mentioned in the recipe.

What date is set when adding a meal plan?

If you’re adding a meal from your recipes the date will be unassigned. If you’re adding meal plans from the meal plan history, Grosh assumes you’re planning the next week so the time will be same day of next week. To modify the date of the planned meal, open up the meal plan and adjust as you see fit.

Can I use Grosh even if my device is not supported?

Yes, there’s a high chance our webapp works on the device if you’ve got an updated Chrome browser on your device. Goto https://groshapp.com and pick login from the menu. 

Then login to Grosh and tap … top right in Chrome and pick “Add to homescreen”

If you tap the Grosh icon on the home screen, the app will start up without the browser header/footer and actually look very similar to the normal app, but there’s a few features not available in the webapp.
