Users across the world
After the initial 8 weeks, we can see our users shopping with Grosh across the world. The top 5 countries so far in regards to number of users is Canada, Denmark, Great Britain, Sweden and USA. New language added
When Grosh launched some weeks ago, we started out with support for 11 languages. We since added Faroese, and today we also launch the Finnish version of the app.
We now have the most common stores of 24 countries in the system. The system is crowd sourcing store names, positions and layouts as people are using the app. You can use store names to tag an item for purchase in a particular store, and the system is now also able to geotag your shopping trips. Just tap the question mark that appears in the app title when opening the app at a location where many purchases have been made, but where we don’t know the store name yet. For identified stores, Grosh applies sorting to your grocery list so that it appears in the same order as groceries are placed in the store – no more running back and forth to find stuff 🙂 Grosh is learning every day, getting smarter on groceries, categorisation, grocery store locations, and grocery store layouts.
