What fields are available on stock lists?

March 20, 2020

If you’re a Premium user, you can use stock lists to manage your stock. Stock lists look like shopping lists, but have adapted behaviour. You can read more about it in this blog post.

The fields of list items have been slightly adapted:

  • Category field: Can be used with stock specific categories, as explained in this blog post.
  • Created field: This field is shown instead of the Store field (that’s normally used for selecting where to buy an item). The new field is automatically filled in with todays date when adding new items to the stock. It can be used to track when you put something in the stock, and is used to generate the suggestions page with highlight on older items in your stock.

Why does stock list history not get updated?

February 15, 2020

When you remove an item, it does not appear on the history. One must tap “consume” on a stock list item in order for it to go to the history. This is done by either swiping it, which decreases stock count by 1, or by opening the product details and tapping “Consumed”. The latter will decrease the stock count by the number of items chosen at the top. See also this FAQ about removing from stock lists.

How do I remove something from a stock list?

February 15, 2020

If your stock has declined and you want to update the stock count, this is what you do:
1. Scan the barcode of the product or start typing the name of the product. If you do the latter you should see the full product name followed by (already on list) which you can tap to open the product.
2. The product details screen, you can select an amount at the top and tap Consumed. This will decrease your stock registration by the amount you entered.

Alternatively, you scroll through the list until you see the item in question and swipe it to decrease the stock registration by 1.

Also note that if you choose to remove the item from the stock screen, this means that it’s totally removed from the list and the barcode could also be removed from the entire system if nobody else is using it. This is handy if you made a bad product registration.
