As food blogger, how do I add the “Save in Grosh” button to a recipe?

As a food blogger, you should add the “Save in Grosh” button next to your recipes in order to make it easy for your users to bookmark the recipe and return to your site at a later time. Do the following the get the “Save in Grosh” button into your recipes:

  1. Login to the Grosh web app at http://login.groshapp.com
  2. Navigate to the recipe you have previously added in Grosh, then tap the Share recipe button.
  3. Copy the share link to the clipboard.
  4. Login to the CMS system used for your blog, e.g. WordPress.
  5. Navigate to the post for the recipe you have previously shared on Grosh
  6. Near the ingredients, insert the following HTML code, remember to substitute the href with the link you stored in the clipboard:
    save-in-grosh-code
  7. You may also upload the “Store in Grosh” button into your CMS system, in WordPress using the Add Media button, and then just insert the button wherever you wish download buttons and just enter the URL of the recipe bookmark from Grosh

 

As food blogger, how do I add my recipes to Grosh?

Login to the Grosh web app at http://login.groshapp.com

Under Recipes, tap the + button top right and fill in the following fields

  • Name (copy-paste text from your recipe)
  • Category (choose a category)
  • Source (copy paste the URL of the recipe webpage)
  • Image (Grosh shows the first image from the recipe webpage automatically, tap to see the next one)
  • Ingredients (copy-paste text from your recipe)
  • Comment (anything you like, e.g. “Visit my blog for more details”)

Remember not to change “Searchable” – new recipes are searchable by default – and finally tap “Add”.

Do this for all recipes you want to publish on Grosh. If you have a large quantity of recipes, please contact Grosh for assistance in loading them in.

 

As food blogger, how do I create a profile on Grosh?

You sign up using the ordinary signup form available at http://login.groshapp.com

Please use your blog name as account name and an email with the same domain as the blog, e.g. john(at)myfoodblog.com

What is the data policy for Grosh?

To ensure efficient operation of Grosh the following data retention policy data applies:

  1. Account settings, shopping lists and their sharing status are never deleted, unless Customer notifies Provider to delete the account using the email account used for the account signup
  2. Recipes are not be deleted until the user does so
  3. Should recipes have been shared to other users, these users will retain a copy even after the Author deletes the recipe
  4. All other customer data is stored for 24 months

What is the Acceptable Use Policy for Grosh (AUP)?

In order to ensure that other customers are not inconvenienced by another customer’s high usage of the service, Grosh has established the following policy for acceptable use of the service (AUP):

  • Maximum of 100 shopping lists and 100 items on a shopping list
  • The service receives no more than 1 connection per user account at a time

By violation of the AUP, Grosh can suspend or terminate access to the service, see also our terms of service.
