This is most likely because you’re saying “Grosh, add bacon to the list”. If you start the Siri sentence with the app name, Reminders captures it and puts it in a reminders list. Instead you should say “Add bacon to the list in Grosh”.
Yes, if you’re using price crowdsourcing, an item added to your list can automatically be assigned the price you paid the last time. You need to turn on price crowdsourcing and ensure the list properties has “use suggested amount” turned on, see also the FAQs about about automatic item marking, shopping trip calculation, and price crowdsourcing.
The app changes left swipe function from Remove to Hide – this has been done to easily support decluttering your list when you’re in a store.
Left swipe on the shoppinglist is labelled Remove and can be invoked when a store is not selected. The action deletes the item forever.
Left swipe on the shoppinglist is labelled Hide and can only be invoked do when you are in a (selected) store. The item is hidden during your stay in the store and reappears when you are in a new place, so you can buy it there.
Hide item followed by minimization / reopening app means the items reappear. This is because one must have bought at least one item at a location before “hiding feature” kicks in.
Sometimes, you regularly buy something at a particular store. If you switch on “use suggested amount” for the list*, the app remembers what you bought the last time in terms of quantity as well as marking of store, price and ecological. When you enter e.g. milk, it will update the item on the list to e.g. 3 milk (eco) at Lidl 1.5EUR when you sync the list the next time, if you had marked the last purchase of milk with Lidl and ecological and registered a crowdsourcing price of 1.5EUR**.
*) You the select list screen, you can tap the “pen” icon to the right of the list name to edit list properties.
**) The app saves your registered prices in a collective price database if you turn on “price crowdsourcing” under Menu – Settings.
